The Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a must-play course hands down. This links-style course respects the natural Florida landscape by generous use of Southern Live Oak trees that are found throughout the course. A certified Audubon sanctuary, Tranquilo Golf Club is home to abundant wildlife.

The course architect, Tom Fazio, created a unique golf course that’s well worth the steep price for those golfers who appreciate quality experience. Fazio wrote that a course should have a “proper spaces along the routes of play that encourage enthusiasm and feelings for the game.” He is truly a master painter as he visually stimulates you on each and every tee box. The condition of the course was absolutely in terrific shape. They did a great job keeping the course well maintained.

As you read this page, Tranquilo Golf Club is now a private club as of February 1, 2018. Unless you join this private club for $12,000 upfront and $18,000 annual dues, the only way you can play is either befriend a member or stay at the Four Seasons Hotel ($600-$800 per night). I personally think this is the best course in the greater Orlando area by far.
